COURSE
The Carl Hart Duathlon is a great way to finish your season! This event has been a mainstay on the multi-sport scene for over fifteen years. Very flat loop course. Some grass and dirt for run.
RUN- 1.8 Miles Road and trail run in the park.
BIKE- 10.5 Miles: (3) loops On the park road that will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event. Bikes allowed: Road bike, time trial, mountain bike, hybrid or beach cruiser. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!)
RUN-1.8 Miles Road and trail run in the park (same as the first run). There will be a water stop at the beginning of this run.
PRICING
Before March 31 Individual Participant: $50 Relay Team: $ 70
On or after April 1 Individual Participant: $60 Relay Team: $80
On or after August 1 Individual Participant: $70 Relay Team: $90
Day of Race Registration: You are not guaranteed a race shirt. Individual Participant: $75 Relay Team: $95
PACKET PICK UP
Race Morning: Sunday, October 17 from 7:15 - 8:00 AM. For directions see link above.
Be at race site by 7:30 AM!
NOTE:
A photo ID is required for packet pick up. All participants must pick up their own race packet, including ALL relay team members. The Carl Hart Duathlon is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. All athletes must have a valid USAT Card. If you do not have one or do not bring it with you to packet pick up, then you must purchase a one day card at packet pick up for $10.

RACE DAY
Arrive at race site on Sunday, October 17 by 7:30 AM to pick up your packet.
AWARDS
Top three overall Male & Female Top Mixed, Female, Male Relays Top three Challenged Men & Challenged Women Individual Age Groups; top three in each category. 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Following Race: 11:00 AM Awards Ceremony and Raffle. Athletes are encouraged to stay for the awards or have someone pick up their award. Awards will only be shipped post event if a pre paid postage envelope for 13 ounces is sent to the race organization within one week of the event.
USAT
All participants in events sanctioned by USA Triathlon must be members of USA Triathlon and be able to present a valid annual membership card or must purchase a USA Triathlon single event permit. All age group athletes must participate and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31 of the year of the event.
REFUNDS AND TRANSFER POLICIES
NO REFUNDS. Registrations may not be transferred to another person. Registrations may not be transferred to another race.

PARK RULES
Heckscher State Park implements a parking fee at 8:00 AM so enter park before 8:00 AM. No Dogs Allowed.

All athletes should park in Lot 2.

REMINDERS
• NO HEADPHONES DURING ANY PART OF THE EVENT or you will be disqualified. • No helmet, no race. • Helmet strap must be fastened before taking bike from rack and remain fastened until after bike is replaced. • No Drafting! Leave three bike lengths unless passing. Stay to your extreme right unless passing. • Run number must be on front of body during entire run! • Any unsportsmanlike behavior to other competitors and/or event staff will be dealt with by an immediate disqualification. • RACE IS RAIN OR SHINE.
