Montauk is a quaint fishing and surfing town on the eastern most tip of Long Island. The town is known for its natural beauty and sports enthusiastic visitors.
Montauk is one of the birthplaces of triathlons. The sport is growing and athletes want to challenge themselves with longer events. There are few metro area triathlons of this distance. In addition to providing a venue for the athletes this event will showcase Montauk at a time when the weather is still nice but the summer crowds are not as heavy.
This is a great family weekend to spend on the east end with a beginner triathlete Sprint Race on Saturday.

canada viagra The Olympic swim course starts to the left of the swim exit and does a clockwise triangle loop that merges into the same finish as the Half Iron Distance swim. The two courses are separate and there will be no confusion for the athletes.
canada viagra (40 K) Scenic and rolling hills with beautiful ocean and bay views. 1100 total feet of elevation gain.
canada viagra The Olympic bike course is exactly the same as one lap of the Half Iron Distance course with the exception of skipping two out and backs on the return of the loop. These will be marked and staffed.
canada viagra PRE-RACE: All athletes are responsible for their own bike. No outside support is allowed as per USAT rules. The Bicycle Planet will provide limited bike service (assistance fixing flats, and make a pump available) in front of the main tent 5-6AM.
DURING BIKE SEGMENT The Bicycle Planet will provide two vehicles roving the bike course to assist with any bike problems. Due to the distance of one loop on the bike course being 25 miles, an athlete may have to wait a short or a long time for assistance. Athletes with on-course bike mechanical problems should attempt to get to the nearest staff person to have them contact support to let them know where they are. This is known as "neutral" support and is the only support allowed on the course. Please be aware that NO other support vehicles are allowed on the course. Athletes may NOT provide their own support vehicles (cars, motorcycles, joggers or bikes). Outside assistance jeopardizes the safety of athletes and is grounds for penalty. Please help staff keep the event safe by spreading the word to family, friends and spectators should stay at the race site for viewing and cheering and if they wish to workout by running or biking, they should run in town, and/or west on Montauk Highway to ensure they do not interfere with the race. Thank you for your understanding.
canada viagra(10 K)canada viagraA challenging hilly course 403 total feet of elevation gain.
canada viagra The Olympic run course is exactly the same as one lap of the Half Distance course with omitting one small section that will be well marked and staffed during the race making it simple for the atheletes to do the correct course.
canada viagra (water and full service alternating) There will be a water stop at every 1.5 mile mark. Every other water stop will be full service with PowerBar, Coke, water and PowerBar Gels.
canada viagraAthletes only in the transition area. The transition area will open at 5:00 AM and will be closed from the start of the race until the last athlete goes out on the run course (approximately 11:45 AM). If there are any problems with athletes not adhering to the rules in regards to transition area, EventPower has the right to disqualify the athlete.
